Writer/Director
Don first started in film making with an independent no budget, feature project in 1991 called Praise, Majestic, Praise! Now 20 years later, September Skies, a remake of this movie is in final post 2w` xcvb« with a release date of March 2012. In the meantime, Don has produced many T.V. commercials, corporate promotional documentaries, along with an 18 month, locally broadcast T.V. show, The Vineyard, on KSTW- UPN 11.
While working in other fields, Don continued honing his film making skills, usually being called on to be the documentary guy to help build fund raising videos for various mission projects, or shoot the latest skit the youth group had come up with at the church. With entries into the past 3 seasons of the 168 Hour Film Project, Meet Me On the Inside, Peshastin, and Gifted, Don has developed a vast array of special effects and film making tools, and further improved his skills as a growing film maker in terms of writing, editing, pre and post production skills, and especially collaborative coordination and team building. He is currently in pre-production for a major independent film, Leschi: Prevailing Destiny, which he will be shooting a film trailer for in March 12 and hopes to begin filming on the Red Epic later in Fall.
